RAIC Women In Architecture Day / by Graham McNally

July 5th is the inaugural Royal Architectural Institute of Canada Women in Architecture Day. The team here at Toms + McNally includes a very talented architect who has been an integral part of our success and an important contributor to our most significant projects.

Paula Hamilton, senior staff architect at Toms + McNally Design, has a broad range of experience including the Waterdown Rotary Memorial Park Skate Path Pavilion, Millgrove House, and a number of recreational facilities, churches, and institutional projects throughout Hamilton. Currently, Paula is the project Architect for the Westdale Cinema Revitalization and a five storey mixed use infill development in downtown Hamilton.

Paula is highly motivated and passionate architect that improves the work of Toms + McNally on a daily basis through her attention to detail and careful preparation of contract documents. Paula is also committed to the profession of Architecture and our community, currently serving on the Ontario Association of Architect’s Construction Contract Administration Committee. Paula has been an instructor at the Ryerson School of Interior Design and represented Flamborough on the City of Hamilton’s Waste Reduction Task Force.

Thank you Paula for being a huge part of the T+M team!
